I have a 7.5 hp compressor and I’m just about to buy an air regulator, filer, and oiler. I use a lot of pneumatic tools that require oil but I also paint cars. Would I be able to use the same hose that has the oiler hooked up to it to paint my cars? I think the oil in the hose would get into the paint. Do I need to change hoses every time?

I am preparing to buy an air compressor. I was told that in order to use certain air tools, the CFM (cubic feet per minute) rating on the compressor needed to exceed the cfm or scfm rating of the air tool. Unfortunately, most of the 110v air compressors that I’ve looked at, up to 0, don’t have the cfm output volume that various air tools require (as stated on their packaging). I find it difficult to believe the that I would need to buy an industrial 220v 10hp air compressor to get enough cfm to drive, say a sand blaster.
Anybody know about this? Your help would defintely be appreciated.
My Air compressor tank is all rusted out and leaks pretty bad, but the compressor it’s self is fine. I’ve been trying to find a new tank for it, but I can’t find ANYWHERE that sells just the air tank. Every only sells the tank and compressor combo. I just need a tank! Where could I get one? I need a 60 gallon or bigger. No, I don’t want to use an oil tank. I want an air tank. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
