I plan on calling the doctors office after they open up this morning, but I did not know if I could tell them that it is not working right. He has the Nebulizador Familiar A Piston / Piston Compressor Nebulizer / Model 3050/3040. The trouble shooting section mentions that there should be an aerosol that comes out of the nebulizer, but nothing but air comes out. No mist, steam, anything like that. Is it broken or what. It is new.

  We had to use nebulizers with our kids when they were little. Esp. my first child. It can be difficult. At least it was for me.

  It has been a really long time since I last used one with my kids but I’ll try to help.

  Are you sure you have enough water or meds in it to create a mist?
  Are the plugs plugged in properly to the right parts?
  Are the tubes sealed so no air is leaking out?
  Is it turned on properly or up high enough?

  Check these things out & if it still isn’t working try finding the manufacturers number so you can call them & won’t have to wait till morning.
