This will spray all wood/metal just fine. Remember to get the paint mix right and only spray when it’s over 70 f. Look online for painting tips. And ONLY spray in an enclosed space.

All compressors start at 0 psi so it is hard to understand what you are asking. The main thing to look at BEFORE buying the compressor is the tooling that it is going to be powering. If you are going to run a couple of dual action auto body sanders off this it is hopelessly inadequate. If you look at your gun it will tell you what it requires for the volume and pressure of air. Always buy more air than what the gun will require so that the compressor can always keep up with it. This compressor should handle most guns because you can always wait for the compressor to catch up if you need to.

for the type of compressor you want you can get a better deal from Northern Tool.com
They ship fast and come with a proven guaranty and warranty service.
Depending on what pressure you need to get a good spray,,,say 90psi…it doesn’t throw a lot out. But at 40 psi I guess it would be okay.
My personal choice would be a craftsman from SEARS.
