i need to soak my carburetor in carb cleaner and then blow the jets (air and fuel) out with an air compressor.
1) How do you soak the carb in cleaner when all of the carb cleaners are aerosol sprays that evaporate quickly?
2) If i don’t have an air compressor, what’s the next best thing to buy/use?
Can i go to a gas station and use the air compressor for tires somehow?
I have also been looking for compressors at home depot but i’m looking for something under . Any recommendations? Is it better to buy an air can?

he uses compressors for building. Nailing, taking off tires, screws, alot of home repairs and mechanic stuff… for our house…..any idea what a good size would be..?
Although sombody may have the time and resources to do it, I cannot see any reason to make a refrigerant compressor into a engine. converting a outboard to a water cooled horizontal engine would be easier.
The owners manual for my air compressor mentions oil change times, But says nothing about what type or weight of oil to use.
Does air compressor pumps use a special oil, or do they use normal motor oil?
Would they be any benefit’s from using synthetic oils such as mobil-1 ? And what weight would I need? Any other info would be great!
BTW: The pump is a single stage, 3-cyl pump. 5hp, 16.7 CFM @90psi (rated)
Thanks for your time!
I got the cmpressor from northern tool, It’s a remanufactured kobalt unit sold under the name Morgan.
Asking northern tool was a mistake, One old man said "it don’t need oil. All the new compressors are oil less" The other old man said the oil never needs changed… The morgan series compressors are sold only on-line. So they have no idea what Im talking about.
I can’t find any websites on info on the Morgan brand either.
I am soliciting advice preferably from someone who owns and uses or has other experience in the use of air brush makeup compressors. The use of this compressor would be for daily makeup (foundation) application of one to two people. In my current research, I anticipate that the cost will be less than 0.00, but am looking for a high quality machine that has a life expectancy of at least 5-10 years.
