Load testing the NT with a ST5. the engine is loading a 2 kw infra red heater and a 2hp air compressor. running at 630 rpm without load and reduce to 600rpm when 3kw is fully loaded. a tad under power and will install a 12 in pulley at the ST end to run the engine at 750rpm. The engine sit on 4 rubber mount behaving well by not moving an inch. this is one great genset but need a new dog house!

Although sombody may have the time and resources to do it, I cannot see any reason to make a refrigerant compressor into a engine. converting a outboard to a water cooled horizontal engine would be easier.

One Cylinder fires while the second one compresses air, quite a nice package!.

This is my home made Lister LD1 air compressor. The engine and air pump are rebuild. The pump is taken from a old truck (air brake) and the air tank is salvaged from the scrapheap (a 200 liter compressor tank).
