I have a 7.5 hp compressor and I’m just about to buy an air regulator, filer, and oiler. I use a lot of pneumatic tools that require oil but I also paint cars. Would I be able to use the same hose that has the oiler hooked up to it to paint my cars? I think the oil in the hose would get into the paint. Do I need to change hoses every time?
I am looking for a air compressor that can handle a paint gun and "maybe" a air drills ?(if not thats fine). im not willing to spend more then 0 on one but if i can find one that can do the job for less that would be awesome. I just need info on what to look for and does the HP mean any thing as in how fast it can fill the tank and whats the diff from getting a 3 gal and a 20 gal tank?. and should i get one that uses oil or a non oil one?
would these specs work for using a compressor to paint a vehicle with? I dont have the money for a large 80 gallon compressor, but this tank has a cfm of 7.5 at 90 psi which i hear is what is best, but its only 6 gallons. Would this compressor work better than a 33 gallon compressor with 4.9 cfm at 90 psi? Thank you. Here are the specs.

Hi i have a old Fliteway air compressor tank rated at 150 psi and have a bunch of 1/2 – 3 hp electric motors laying around my junk pile and i was thinking i could just buy a compressor pump or take one off of a car to get air in this thing.
What size pump should i buy for a 8 gallon 150psi tank?
Iv seen one at harbor freight for 150$ double piston model with no brand rated at 145psi 1000rpm 3hp, don’t know if it would work it looks a little much for what i want to do with it unless i get a bigger tank or more tanks like propane.
I want to get one as cheap as possible but one that works good.
Im getting my boyfriend one for christmas, he wont use it all the time but he really wants one but I don’t want to spend A LOT on one. Im looking at these two (the links) please someone tell me what is a good one to buy.
im thinking about putting a straight pipe on it… it would probably sound nice. Anyway this is a go cart i restored. I bought it with no engine, just the frame. The frame was partly complete and was very rusty. I sanded every inch of the go cart and primed it with this rust protection primer. One day, I will find the chance to get around to painting it completely with my air compressor. It has a 5.5 hp Japanese honda copy. It runs great and goes about 30 mph. This is an ongoing prject that will continue to improve.
