Note: I'm away April 5 to at least April 12. This is a Powerex duplex 2 x 5 horsepower (10HP) oil-free scroll air compressor - I think 14.7CFM per air end at 100PSI, so about 30 CFM total. Model SLD050442, which is the same thing as the current model STD0504, just with heavier-duty 5-tube heat exchangers and electric cabinet than the current STD series (which only has 3-tube exchangers). This is a 120 gallon horizontal tank receiver.
Includes vibration mounts if you want to use them, but they generally aren't needed with scroll compressors. This was pulled from service in a university mid-2020 and was on a quarterly service contract for it's entire life. The pumps were always maintained and replaced ahead of schedule, which is rare for scroll compressors because they are already known to be reliable. Built in 1994, but the pumps are from 2016 and 2001.
Tank seems perfect with no rust; good paint and stickers. Both check valves replaced in 2020. These are extraordinarily well-built compressors.Wired for 460 VAC currently, but can easily be changed to 208-240v at the motors and on the control transformer in the cabinet. I only have 208v available and have not re-tapped it and tested.
There is also a pump-alternator w/ time clock control box included that is not installed, and a 3rd tank pressure switch for this that is already installed (on the right side of the tank). Wiring diagrams and manuals for this are included. Right pump is a SLAE05E with 12,363 hours since new in 2016. 2,023 hours since tip seal replacement. Newer Baldor M3218T 5 HP motor. Left pump is a SLAE05 and has a Dayton 3KW37G 5 HP motor. Unknown pump hours - likely well under 10k. I have a simplex (STS050142) 30gallon from 2001 that I just swapped this pump/motor over from simply for my own use because the left pump originally on this duplex was from 2019 and very low hours, and I do not need 120 gallon tank or 10hp for my own use. I've been using this pump + motor for about 5 years just running staplers and air guns and it saw about 25 hours of use a year - it was just swapped out a month ago and was working perfectly. Only needed the typical 20-30 secs or so to recycle back up to 100psi, so I know it's in good shape. Not tested as it's sitting. NEMA L15-20 and -30 twist lock receptacles about 10' away from it. You're welcome to stop by test it if you have the right plug and cable to bring. If you are unfamiliar, all good oilless scroll pumps are only made by one company: Anest Iwata from Japan. Powerex is their main trade partner in USA, and the company is now known as Powerex-Iwata Air Technology, Inc. Atlas Copco also sells scroll compressors with Anest-Iwata pumps installed; the SF-series. This duplex powerex has the same capacity as the Atlas Copco SF8 (2 x 5hp SLAE05 or SLAE05E pumps - 8KW total).
These pumps are made in Japan and very quiet - basically the quietest compressors on the market. Do not confuse these with the cheap Eastwood oil-filled scroll units, or the Chinese-ripoff scrolls with integrated motors.Iwata scroll pumps are what you want if you're looking for clean compressors. 0 PPM of oil down the line.
These are often used in labs, food production and for tool changer air in machine shops by those that know what they're doing... I use these because I want the quietest and cleanest compressor in my shop, but a huge advantage is these can run at 100% duty cycle and can also start-stop whenever you want, so there are no concerns to have about duty cycle or run-time like you'd have with screw and recip units. I have added "make offer" and I will accept offers for only 1 pump or pump/motor installed if that's all you want. Priority given to taking the entire thing.I have a pallet jack to move it around, but no forklift available. I'll do what I can to help load. I have no shipper and cannot provide quotes.
